Healthwatch Lambeth is the independent champion for people using local health and social care services. We are asking people living or working in Lambeth to take part in a short survey to tell us about their views and experiences of sharing feedback about local NHS and social care services. We also want to understand whether people know about us and our services.

 Please help us by spending a few minutes to complete our anonymous survey (we do not ask you for your name). Your feedback will help us to decide how best to inform people about the different ways they share their feedback about NHS and social care services and how they can get information they need about local services.

If you are caring for someone in Lambeth who also receives visits from a district nursing team, we would like to hear from you. Guy’s and St Thomas’ is introducing a new way of working for district nurses in Lambeth called ‘neighbourhood nursing.’ The changes will make it possible for patients to see the same nurse more regularly and for care and support to be delivered more efficiently. We would like to talk to unpaid, informal carers about their experiences of the district nursing service to help us understand what these changes will mean for you and the person you look after. It does not matter how regularly you care for them.

Healthwatch Lambeth have been asked to carry out interviews with interested carers. The interviews will last 30-45 minutes, take place over the phone, and can be arranged at a time convenient to you. We want to hear from young people about their experience of transition to adulthood and/or independence.

If you are 14 to 25, do live in Lambeth, and have mental health conditions or learning disability, please share your story.  Your private information will be kept  completely confidential. Your story can help us improve the support you need as you move to adulthood.

Covid-19 vaccination ‘Super pop-ups’ across south East London

It’s easier than ever to get your vaccination in Lambeth. You can

1)      Visit the South-East London health and wellbeing bus or a walk-in clinic

2)      Book online or by phone

3)      Book through your GP

You can get the COVID-19 vaccine if you're aged 18 or over.

There are now several large popup and walk-in sessions  especially for those over 40 and/or adults within high-risk groups to get their vaccine. 

There are daily sessions at both St Thomas’ and Guy’s Hospitals from 8am-7pm through June. All approved COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective and give the best protection against coronavirus. 

Lambeth walk-in clinics and vaccination bus

Regular walk-in clinics are running from Montgomery Hall in Kennington and from Baldry Gardens and Streatham Place GP practices.   

South-East London CCG are also pleased to share that they are running vaccinations and providing pick up and collection of COVID-19 testing kits from a new Health and Wellbeing Bus stationed on the Cowley and Loughborough Estates. The bus is open to the public from 9am to 3pm each day and COVID-19 ambassadors will be supporting engagement with residents, sharing information, answering questions and supporting takeup of the vaccine among those who are aged 40+.
